Tampa, Florida, United States, November 2024 – Achieva Credit Union has announced the appointment of Sarah Schackmann as their new Chief People Officer. With over nine years of HR leadership experience within Achieva, Sarah will drive the credit union’s people strategies, including employee engagement, talent development, and organizational growth, to support its mission of providing exceptional service to members.
Prior to her appointment as Chief People Officer, Sarah served as Human Resources Manager at Achieva Credit Union for nearly a decade. In this role, she implemented key HR policies and fostered a positive work environment that aligned with the organization’s values of community support and member-focused service.
Before joining Achieva, Sarah was a Senior Benefits Specialist at Quest Diagnostics in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area, where she honed her expertise in employee benefits management and organizational support. Her experience includes a significant tenure at Bankers Financial Corporation, where she held multiple roles, including Director of Benefits & Compensation and Human Resources Business Partner. Sarah’s extensive experience in benefits, compensation, and HR administration further strengthens her capabilities as a strategic HR leader.
