Mexico, United States, June 2026 — Sarai Corona has assumed the role of Vice President of Human Resources at AutoZone México, marking a significant milestone in a human resources career spanning nearly two decades across talent management, learning and development, organizational development, and strategic HR leadership.
In her new position, Corona will oversee the human resources function for AutoZone México, bringing extensive experience in workforce development, talent strategy, leadership training, and organizational effectiveness. Her appointment reflects a progression built on deep expertise in developing people-focused strategies that support business growth and operational excellence.
Prior to this promotion, she served as HR Stores Director at AutoZone, a role she held from July 2025 to June 2026, where she supported the company’s retail workforce and HR operations. Before that, she spent more than seven years as OD, Training and Communication Director, leading organizational development initiatives, employee training programs, and internal communication strategies across the organization.
Corona’s journey with AutoZone began in 2018, and over the past eight years she has played a key role in strengthening talent capabilities and fostering employee engagement throughout the company. Her leadership has contributed to the development of programs designed to enhance organizational performance while supporting employee growth and development.
Before joining AutoZone, Corona built an extensive career at Johnson Controls, where she spent more than 11 years in progressively responsible positions. Her tenure included roles such as Learning and Development Manager (Corporate LATAM), Learning and Development Leader (Corporate LATAM), Talent Management Mexico and Social Responsibility Lead, and various talent development, recruitment, and training leadership positions. These experiences provided her with broad regional exposure across Latin America and deep expertise in talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development, and corporate learning strategies.
Earlier in her career, she worked at CompuSoluciones y Asociados, where she held administrative and service management roles that helped establish the operational and organizational foundations of her professional journey.
