Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 2026 — Sareeta Bhatikar has started a new chapter in her career, joining Jio-bp as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). She transitions into the role after a fulfilling six-year tenure at HDFC Life, where she played a central role in shaping large-scale people strategies and cultural transformation initiatives.
Expressing her excitement about the move, Sareeta Bhatikar highlighted Jio-bp’s bold ambition of reimagining and revolutionising mobility in India, spanning future-ready fuels, electric mobility solutions, customer-first innovations, aviation fuels, and doorstep delivery ecosystems. She emphasized that being part of an organization positioned at the intersection of innovation, scale, employee and customer delight, and sustainability is deeply energizing.
At HDFC Life, Sareeta Bhatikar most recently served as Head of Human Resources, championing the people strategy for over 40,000 employees and leading a large HR team to drive cultural and organizational growth in a highly competitive environment. Earlier, as Senior Vice President – HR, she led business partnering initiatives and played a key leadership role in the people transformation agenda during the HDFC Life–Exide Life merger.
Prior to HDFC Life, she was HR Head – India Business at Cipla, supporting a large and complex workforce across the country. She also spent several years at Vodafone in multiple senior HR leadership roles spanning employee relations, performance management, HR transformation, and business partnering, helping shape high-performance cultures and large-scale organizational change.
Earlier in her career, Sareeta Bhatikar held HR and transformation roles at Maersk Line, Unilever, and Larsen & Toubro Infotech, building deep expertise in talent management, HR transformation, and global change initiatives. She holds an MMS in Human Resources from Welingkar Institute of Management.
