Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, October 2024 – Shalaine Carter has been promoted to Executive Director, Employee Relations Senior Manager at Wells Fargo, marking another milestone in her successful career. In her new role, Shalaine will lead key initiatives within employee relations, providing strategic guidance to support employee well-being and foster a positive workplace culture across the organization.
Shalaine’s promotion comes after nearly three years as the Vice President, Lead Human Resources Business Partner, where she led the HR team for the CIB COO group and CIB Diverse Segments team. Prior to that, she served as Business Support Manager on the Transformation Enablement team for Wells Fargo Asset Management.
Shalaine began her career at Wells Fargo in 2015 as a Senior Campus Recruiter, where she played a pivotal role in talent acquisition for the Financial Analyst Program within Wholesale Banking. Earlier in her career, she worked as an HR Business Initiatives Analyst for Wells Fargo Securities, contributing to HR early talent program management and analytics.
Before joining Wells Fargo, Shalaine gained extensive experience in retirement benefits and employee relations, serving as an Account Manager/Data Control Specialist at National Retirement Services, Inc. Additionally, she held key roles at BB&T and the American Psychological Association, where she managed accreditation operations for psychology programs across the U.S. and Canada.
