Dubai, United Arab Emirates, March 2026 – Binghatti Holding has appointed Shameel Ahmed as Group Director – HR Planning & Organizational Development, strengthening its leadership as the organization continues its rapid expansion across multiple sectors.
In this strategic role, Ahmed will lead HR planning and organizational development for the group, supporting its ambitious growth trajectory. With Binghatti having experienced 10x growth to over 25,000 employees in a short span, he will focus on building scalable people strategies, enhancing organizational capability, and strengthening leadership infrastructure to sustain future growth.
Prior to joining Binghatti Holding, Ahmed spent four years with Oracle, where he led ECEMEA Sales Development and Strategic Engagements for Fusion Cloud Applications, delivering significant business impact through go-to-market strategies, multi-channel campaigns, and enterprise engagement initiatives across Europe, Central Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Earlier, he served as Expert – Human Capital Strategy & Future at the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), where he played a key role in shaping HR strategy, implementing Oracle Fusion ERP systems, and driving organizational transformation initiatives aligned with national development agendas.
Ahmed also held senior HR leadership roles at Bridgestone as MEA Human Resources & Administration Director, overseeing HR operations across 51 countries, and at EY (Ernst & Young), where he led consulting engagements in people advisory services across the MENA region.
He spent over a decade at JLL, where he served in multiple leadership roles including MENA HR & Administration Director and Head of Reward, Mobility & HRIS, contributing to large-scale transformation, talent strategy, and global HR frameworks.
His early career includes roles at Deutsche Bank, GSK, and Superdrug, building deep expertise in compensation, HR systems, and organizational change.
Ahmed holds an MBA from the University of Hertfordshire.
