Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2025 — Sharmishtha Bhadra has started a new role as Head – Talent Management and Performance (Centre of Excellence) at ICICI Lombard, one of India’s leading private general insurance companies. In this role, she will lead enterprise-wide initiatives across talent management, leadership development, performance management, recognition, diversity, equity & inclusion, and culture transformation.
Most recently, Sharmishtha served as General Manager – Capability Building (Centre of Excellence) at Otis Elevator Co., where she worked with business and functional leaders across India to design and deliver organizational development and talent strategies, while aligning national priorities with regional and global agendas.
Before that, she was Head CoE – OD, Talent Management and L&D at Future Generali India Life Insurance, where she provided strategic direction for multiple talent and capability streams, including learning, organizational development, performance, engagement, and culture.
Earlier, she worked with Trent Hypermarket Pvt Ltd – Star Bazaar (A Tata & Tesco Enterprise) as Head – L&D, Talent and OD, where she was responsible for aligning people strategies with business objectives, building leadership pipelines, and managing large-scale performance and talent development programs across the enterprise.
Prior to these roles, Sharmishtha gained extensive HR experience with organizations such as Corporate HR (Business HR Partner) at Trent Hypermarket, Regional HR at Trent, Welspun World, Randstad India, and EmmayHR (a Randstad Company), where she built expertise in business HR operations, capability development, change management, and recruitment.
