Reading, England, United Kingdom, June 2025 – Shashi Shetty has been appointed as Senior Director Human Resources at Waters Corporation, reflecting a continued ascent in global HR leadership. In this new capacity, Shashi will lead HR strategies for the company’s EMEA and global operations, strengthening talent management, organizational culture, and employee engagement at one of the world’s foremost analytical technology organizations.
With an impressive eight-year tenure at Waters Corporation, Shashi has held a series of progressive HR leadership roles. As Global HR Business Partner for the Clinical Business Unit and TA Instruments Division, and previously as Director, HR Business Partner, EMEA, Shashi has driven HR strategy across regions, ensuring alignment with business goals, advancing high-performing cultures, and supporting cross-border growth. His earlier role as Director HR, India established him as a strategic leader, driving HR initiatives for both the commercial organization and the technology centre in India.
Prior to Waters, Shashi spent over seven years at Philips, most recently as Head HR – Healthcare Operations, India, where he led HR & IR strategy for rapid business growth, drove large-scale change management initiatives, and championed award-winning talent and culture programs. Earlier, as Regional HR Business Partner, he successfully enhanced performance management processes, built succession pipelines, and earned consecutive Best Regional HR Manager awards.
Shashi’s earlier experience includes eight years at TÜV SÜD in South Asia as an Organizational Development Manager, where he led end-to-end learning & development portfolios and major HR transformation projects. Starting his career in progressive operations, marketing, and auditing roles, Shashi brings a wealth of expertise in HR automation, ISO and SA 8000 audits, and organizational restructuring.
