Raleigh, North Carolina, United States, April 2025 – Shayna Lotman has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer at Hazen and Sawyer, a leading engineering firm specializing in water and wastewater management. In her new role, Shayna will lead the company’s human capital strategy, focusing on workforce development, leadership growth, and creating an inclusive and high-performing organizational culture.
Before joining Hazen and Sawyer, Shayna Lotman served as Associate Vice President and Regional Director, Human Resources at Michael Baker International, where she drove strategic HR initiatives across multiple growth regions, leading talent management, succession planning, wellness programs, and performance development strategies.
Earlier in her tenure at Michael Baker International, Shayna also held the position of Associate Vice President, Senior HR Business Partner, where she was instrumental in transforming the HR operating model, launching stay interviews, mentorship programs, and employee engagement action plans across the organization.
Prior to that, Shayna was with AIG as an HR Manager, where she led HR for the Fort Worth Data Center and participated in major organizational restructures, competency mapping initiatives, and global policy alignment projects.
She also contributed significantly during her time at Boeing as a Strategic HR Business Partner/Generalist, supporting sensitive defense and government services teams, leading culture change efforts, and serving on strategic HR committees focused on onboarding, employee relations, and corrective action best practices.
Earlier in her career, Shayna held senior HR leadership roles at Ryan LLC, The Home Depot, and Kansas City Missouri School District, consistently driving HR excellence, employee engagement, and operational effectiveness across industries.
Shayna holds an MBA in Human Resources and Law from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
