Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2025 – TATA AIG General Insurance Company Limited has appointed Shekhar Saurabh as Head of Marketing, where he will lead the company’s branding and marketing strategies to strengthen its presence in the competitive insurance sector. With extensive experience in consumer engagement and marketing leadership, Shekhar will focus on driving impactful campaigns that enhance customer connections and promote innovative insurance solutions, reinforcing TATA AIG’s reputation as a trusted brand.
Shekhar Saurabh brings over a decade of marketing expertise to his new role. Most recently, he served as Category Head, Marketing – Home Care at Godrej Consumer Products Limited, managing a ₹3,500 Cr+ portfolio that included flagship brands like GoodKnight, HIT, Ezee, Genteel, and Fab. Prior to this, he led the Personal Wash Portfolio at Godrej, overseeing a ₹2,500 Cr+ category comprising soaps, toiletries, and deodorants.

Shekhar’s earlier roles at GSK Consumer Healthcare India included serving as Brand Manager – Horlicks, where he managed key digital and regional strategies, and Area Sales Manager, overseeing regional sales performance. His contributions during his tenure earned him accolades such as the Best Summer Intern Award during his internship with GSK in 2012.
