Gurgaon , Haryana, India, January 2026 —Shilpa Dureja Puri has been elevated as Director Marketing – New Computing & Wearables at Samsung Electronics India, reflecting the company’s confidence in her leadership and strategic marketing expertise.
In her expanded role, she will lead marketing for Samsung’s Computing and Wearables portfolio, spanning tablets, laptops, smartwatches, buds, rings and accessories. She will drive growth strategies while strengthening integrated ecosystem storytelling across premium and emerging technology categories, shaping the next phase of connected experiences for consumers in a digital-first world.
Shilpa has been with Samsung Electronics India for over seven years, steadily advancing through key leadership roles. Prior to her elevation, she served as Director Marketing – Luxury, Flagship & Ecosystem, where she led premium portfolio marketing and ecosystem integration strategies. Earlier, she was GM Marketing – Luxury & Flagship Mobiles, followed by her role as General Manager – Digital, driving digital transformation and brand growth initiatives.
Before joining Samsung, Shilpa held senior leadership positions at Microsoft, where she served as Director Marketing – Digital & Experiential and Director – Digital Marketing, leading digital governance, demand generation, content strategy and partner ecosystem enablement. Her work spanned modern marketing frameworks, digital transformation initiatives and large-scale marketing innovation programs.
Earlier in her career, she was Vice President at Publicis Modem, leading India operations for the global digital marketing agency. She has also held leadership roles at Dada S.p.A, HT Media Ltd, and Times Internet Limited, building a strong foundation in digital strategy, brand management and content-driven marketing.
Shilpa has been recognized among the “100 Smartest Digital Marketing Leaders” by the World Digital Marketing Congress and CMO Asia. She is an alumna of the International Management Institute, New Delhi, and has completed the Modern Marketing: Content, Automation and Analytics to Drive Growth program at the Kellogg School of Management, earning distinction.
Her elevation underscores Samsung’s commitment to strengthening its premium and connected device ecosystem strategy across computing and wearable technology categories.
