Atlanta, Georgia, United States, January 2025 – Shivanna Maharaj has been appointed as Director of Human Resources at Inspire, where she will lead strategic HR initiatives to drive talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development within the global restaurant company.
Prior to joining Inspire, Shivanna worked at Dollar General, holding various roles over a tenure of more than four years. Most recently, as Senior Human Resources Manager – Corp, she drove corporate HR strategies to align with the organization’s growth objectives. Before this, as Senior Human Resources Manager – Talent Acquisition, she focused on recruiting top-tier talent to strengthen the workforce.
Earlier, Shivanna served at Five Below, where she excelled in roles such as Field Recruiter, Corporate Recruiter, and Regional HR Manager, spanning over four years. During this period, she supported diverse recruiting efforts, including marketing, supply chain, and human resources, while also managing regional HR operations.
Shivanna’s career also includes a prior stint at Dollar General in roles such as Senior Talent Manager, Regional Human Resources Manager, and Human Resource Representative-Recruiter, showcasing her strong foundation in HR leadership and recruitment.
Her early career saw her gaining valuable experience in public relations and marketing through roles at organizations like JTMarCom, Tower Creative Consultants, and Webster’s and Associates, reflecting her multifaceted professional background.
