Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, May 2025 – Shreeja Kumar has been appointed as Vice President – Performance & Rewards at HSBC, marking a new chapter in her impactful HR leadership journey. In her new role, she will be responsible for leading performance management strategies and total rewards frameworks across the organization’s India operations.
Prior to this elevation, Shreeja served for approximately three years at HSBC as Vice President – HR Consulting, where she led key transformation initiatives, supported HR business strategies, and contributed to organizational effectiveness across functions. Her role involved deep engagement with leadership on HR policies and change management projects.
Before joining HSBC, Shreeja was associated with Accenture as a Management Consultant – Talent and Organization, where she worked on large-scale HR transformations, talent strategy, and organization design assignments across industries for over a year. She also spent close to three years at Deloitte India (Offices of the US) as a Consultant – Human Capital | HR Transformation, focusing on strategic workforce planning, HR operating models, and system implementations.
Earlier in her career, she was part of the Analytics and Strategy CoE at Reliance Industries Limited, where she worked as a Business Analyst – HR, managing end-to-end HR projects for RIL’s energy and lifesciences businesses. Her work involved strategic consulting, change management, and implementing advanced people analytics for decision-making.
Shreeja holds an MBA in Human Resource Development from the Delhi School of Economics, which provided her with a strong foundation to lead HR strategy and operations across multiple global firms.
