Kolkata, West Bengal, India, February 2026 – Shrija Chandak has started her new role as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at Titagarh Rail Systems Limited, taking on a dual mandate to lead people strategy and digital transformation for the organization. In this expanded leadership position, she will drive HR excellence while accelerating digitization initiatives aligned with the company’s growth and innovation agenda.
In her new role at Titagarh Rail Systems Limited, Shrija Chandak will focus on strengthening organizational capability, enabling digital transformation, and aligning people strategy with business expansion across India and global markets.
Prior to joining Titagarh, Shrija spent nearly fifteen years with Amrit Cement Limited, where she most recently served as Chief of HR and Digitization. During her tenure of approximately four years in this leadership role, she led key HR transformation initiatives and digitization efforts. Earlier at Amrit Cement, she served for over a decade as General Manager – HR and Admin, where she translated business vision into actionable HR strategies that enhanced performance, profitability, growth, and employee engagement. Her work reflected a strong focus on strategic HR leadership, team building, and organizational effectiveness.
Earlier in her career, Shrija was associated with Aegis Global, where she worked as Manager – Site Lead Recruitment, driving corporate hiring initiatives and leading sourcing operations for Kolkata and Jamshedpur. She played a key role in recruitment strategy and talent acquisition across regions.
She also spent around four years with Genpact India, serving as Assistant Manager, where she managed end-to-end hiring for the Kolkata site and handled key growth accounts including ModusLink, SAB Miller, Reed Elsevier, and Lexis Nexis. During her tenure, she introduced structured performance review mechanisms, revised job descriptions across multiple levels, built strong campus partnerships, and significantly scaled hiring contributions across regions. She began her professional journey as a Management Trainee, contributing to voice training pools across West Bengal and driving strong hiring conversion rates through structured training initiatives.
With over two decades of HR leadership experience, Shrija Chandak brings deep expertise in talent strategy, digitization, performance management, and business-aligned HR transformation. Her appointment comes at a significant growth phase for Titagarh as it strengthens its global mobility footprint.
