Gurugram, Haryana, India, September 2025 — Shruti Bhatia has taken on a new role as Asia AI Workforce Business Go-to-Market Leader at Microsoft, covering ASEAN, Greater China Region, India, and South Asia. In this strategic position, she will lead workforce transformation initiatives, scaling Microsoft’s AI-driven business strategy across diverse markets and accelerating adoption of AI-enabled solutions to drive productivity and growth.
Bhatia has been with Microsoft for 15 years, holding several high-impact leadership positions. Most recently, she served as Country Head, Modern Work & Surface, India & South Asia, where she led business growth and customer transformation initiatives across multiple markets in the region.
Before that, she was Chief of Staff, Strategy & Transformation Lead, Microsoft India, driving organizational transformation projects and aligning business priorities with long-term growth strategies. Earlier, she held the role of Director, Sales Strategy & Transformation for Small & Mid-Market, where she spearheaded Microsoft’s SMB transformation, cloud adoption, and multi-solution penetration programs, alongside building strong partner alliances and scalable sales strategies.
Her leadership track also includes positions as Director, Partner Strategy & Marketing across Modern Workplace and Business Applications, where she built strong GTM frameworks and partner ecosystems. She also served as Director, Marketing for SMB in Education, Healthcare, and Non-Profit, rolling out flagship initiatives such as EduCloud and Microsoft Aspire School Program.
Prior to these roles, Bhatia contributed to Microsoft in OEM Marketing & Breadth Strategy and Business Planning & Strategy leadership capacities. She also worked with Oracle as Key Partner Director, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where she held roles in strategic alliances, digital marketing, and SMB program management. Her early career included experiences at Max New York Life Insurance, Tata Infotech, IDC India, and Publicis Groupe, shaping her expertise in market intelligence, software services, and channel relationship management.
