Mumbai, Maharashtra, India – October 2024 – Shweta Guru has been appointed as the Chief Business Officer – Education Loans at Auxilo Finserve Private Limited. In her new role, Shweta will lead Auxilo’s education loans business, overseeing sales, credit, product, and contact center verticals. Her focus will be on developing innovative financial solutions to support aspiring students and educational infrastructure across India.
Before joining Auxilo, Shweta was the Head of Retail Asset Products at Aditya Birla Finance Limited, where she led the retail asset segment across various products, including personal loans, business loans, and micro-business loans. Her responsibilities encompassed P&L management, product development, channel expansion, and driving cross-sell initiatives. Shweta held this role for nearly two years, demonstrating strategic acumen in product innovation and market penetration.
Prior to Aditya Birla Finance, Shweta worked at IDFC FIRST Bank for over eight years, where she held multiple roles, including National Head – Business Loans & Professional Loans. She was instrumental in building the business loans segment from scratch, launching new products, setting up distribution channels, and achieving significant business growth.
Earlier in her career, Shweta was the Head of Product & Strategic Alliances at NeoGrowth Credit Pvt. Ltd., where she managed strategic alliances and launched new financial products. Her efforts contributed to the growth of NeoGrowth’s mobile point-of-sale business, where she was responsible for P&L management and commercial operations.
Shweta’s experience also includes roles at Dhanlaxmi Bank, J.P. Morgan, and Religare, where she focused on product development, corporate strategy, and market expansion across diverse financial segments.
