Warrington, England, December 2024 – Simon Davenport has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer at CreativeHUT, where he will lead global marketing efforts to enhance engagement in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education across schools, businesses, and communities in the UK, Europe, and the United States. With his extensive expertise in strategic marketing and educational innovation, Simon aims to drive impactful initiatives that inspire learners and empower educators.
Simon brings over a decade of diverse marketing experience to CreativeHUT. Prior to this role, he was a Marketing Strategist at Webstars, where he developed tailored marketing strategies and executed growth-focused campaigns for professional services companies. Before that, Simon led Motley Innovation as Director and Lead Consultant, where he drove high-impact sales and marketing projects for global brands, including steering UBTECH Robotics’ European market entry and developing a scalable marketing strategy for CreativeHUT itself.
Simon’s earlier experience includes a seven-year tenure at LEGO Group, where he served as Head of Marketing, leading B2B and D2C strategies across multiple territories, achieving 30% revenue growth, and spearheading the European launch of LEGO Mindstorms Education EV3. Simon also held roles at RM Education, where he managed the FIRST LEGO League programme to inspire students in STEM careers, and British Tennis Coaches Association, focusing on national event coordination.
