ADELAIDE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA — The University of Adelaide has appointed Simone Fisher as the new Director of HR Operations Management. This role commenced in April 2024 and marks a significant step in Simone’s illustrious career in human resources and organizational development.
Simone Fisher brings over two decades of diverse experience in human resources, spanning various leadership roles. Before joining the University of Adelaide, she served as the Lead for Executive Employment at the Department for Education, South Australia, from December 2022 to April 2024, where she honed her skills in executive management and strategic HR initiatives. Prior to this, Simone was a Human Resources Project Specialist with ARTC from January 2021 to August 2022, overseeing significant HR projects that enhanced organizational efficiencies.
Her substantial background also includes nearly eight years at EY, where she evolved from a Learning and Development Consultant to the Global Learning & Development Manager. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in developing and implementing learning strategies that significantly impacted the professional growth of EY’s global workforce.
At the University of Adelaide, Simone Fisher is set to lead the HR Operations Management team, focusing on enhancing operational effectiveness and employee engagement across one of Australia’s foremost educational institutions.
