Hyderabad, Telangana, India, April 2025 – Adaps, Australia’s oldest IT solutions company, has announced the appointment of Sravanti Chekragari as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). The announcement was made by Anand Tatavarthi, Chief Executive Officer of Adaps, who welcomed Sravanti to the leadership team and expressed confidence in her ability to drive operational excellence and cultural growth across the organization.
As COO, Sravanti Chekragari will be responsible for leading Adaps’ business operations, customer and employee experience, partner and stakeholder engagement, and leadership development efforts. She will also lead the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, particularly those focused on education and orphanage support. Her appointment signals a strategic shift in reinforcing Adaps’ commitment to people, purpose, and performance.
Before joining Adaps, Sravanti Chekragari served as Head of Skills Academy and Employee Engagement & Recognition at Biocon Biologics for over three years, where she led initiatives in employee development, engagement, and learning transformation. She played a pivotal role in building scalable frameworks for leadership and cultural development.
Prior to that, she was Head of OD and Leadership Development at Cadila Pharmaceuticals, where she brought significant transformation to the company’s learning and leadership ecosystem during her tenure of close to a year. Her contributions included strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational agility and culture.
Earlier, Sravanti held key roles at Mercedes-Benz (Daimler Corporate Academy – APAC), where she worked for over two and a half years in designing and delivering high-impact leadership development programs across the Asia-Pacific region.
She also served as Director & Head – Global Talent Development at Cigniti Technologies for about four and a half years, where she successfully aligned global talent strategies with business goals. Her focus was on leadership pipeline development, performance enablement, and organizational culture transformation.
In the initial phase of her career, she spent nearly nine years at Cyient as Senior Manager – Learning and Development, and previously contributed to the education sector through her roles at Eklavya Education Foundation and Andhra Loyola College, showcasing her passion for knowledge transfer and societal impact.
