Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, July 2026 — slice has promoted Sreenu Nair to the role of Vice President – Talent, marking another significant milestone in his leadership journey with the fintech company. In his expanded role, he will lead the company’s talent acquisition strategy, strengthen leadership hiring, nurture high-performing talent teams, and continue building scalable talent practices to support slice’s growth ambitions.
With over eight years of experience in talent acquisition, leadership hiring, and talent strategy, Sreenu has established himself as a dynamic talent leader with deep expertise in building teams from the ground up and creating high-impact recruitment ecosystems. His experience spans technology hiring, campus recruitment, diversity initiatives, leadership talent acquisition, and talent partner development.
Sreenu has been associated with slice for more than five years, progressing through multiple leadership roles. He joined the organization as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, where he played a pivotal role in building the company’s technology and design teams from the ground up, helping scale the technology workforce from just 15 employees to more than 300 and the design team from three members to over 30 professionals. He also initiated campus hiring programs and developed strategies focused on diversity and employee referrals.
Over the years, Sreenu advanced to the positions of Principal Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Manager, and Assistant Vice President – Talent Acquisition, where he continued to strengthen leadership hiring capabilities and develop talent acquisition frameworks that supported slice’s evolution from a fintech startup into a full-fledged banking institution. Throughout his tenure, he has remained focused on enabling business growth while mentoring and developing future talent leaders within the organization.
Prior to joining slice, Sreenu held talent acquisition roles at Aquis Search, where he partnered with fintech startups, multinational corporations, and high-frequency trading firms across APAC, Europe, Australia, and the United States. Earlier, he worked with Toppr, where he built technology, business analytics, and data science teams from scratch and successfully launched campus hiring initiatives.
His promotion reflects slice’s continued investment in building world-class talent capabilities and its confidence in Sreenu’s ability to drive talent innovation, leadership hiring, and organizational growth as the company continues to redefine the future of banking and financial services.
