Srijit Vijayan Appointed as CHRO, South East Asia at Mondelēz International

Singapore, September 2025 — Srijit Vijayan has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), South East Asia at Mondelēz International, where he will lead the people and culture agenda across the company’s dynamic operations in the region. With a career marked by long tenures at global organizations, Srijit brings a wealth of experience in building high-performing teams, driving organizational transformation, and enabling business growth.

Srijit’s career at Mondelēz International spans more than 14 years, during which he has provided impactful HR leadership across multiple geographies and functions. His contributions have been integral in enabling operating model shifts, route-to-market transformations, and supply chain reinvention, ensuring that the company remains agile and competitive in fast-changing markets. He has also led efforts to develop future-back talent strategies, preparing the workforce to meet evolving business and consumer needs while nurturing a strong leadership pipeline.

A strong advocate of technology-driven solutions, Srijit has been at the forefront of leading digital transformations in employee experience at Mondelēz, introducing scalable systems and solutions that improve engagement, efficiency, and workforce readiness. His role in scaling and building global HR shared services operations has provided the organization with sustainable HR models that support diverse and complex markets across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

Beyond structural transformation, Srijit has partnered closely with senior leaders on programs to accelerate growth, drive cultural alignment, and deliver cost leadership initiatives. His approach reflects his values of courage, empathy, and freedom, qualities that underpin an authentic leadership style admired across the organization. Before joining Mondelēz International, Srijit began his career with Nestlé, where he spent over two years in people and culture roles. This experience provided him with an early foundation in HR within one of the world’s most recognized FMCG companies, setting the stage for his long and successful journey at Mondelēz.

Srijit is an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, where he earned his Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations (PGD PM&IR). His academic grounding, combined with practical exposure across multiple markets, continues to shape his leadership in people and culture strategy.
