Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2026 – Tata Chemicals Limited has appointed Sriniwas CR as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Based in Mumbai, he will lead the company’s people strategy, talent management, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, employee relations, and culture transformation initiatives as Tata Chemicals continues to strengthen its global position in the chemicals and materials sciences sector.
With over three decades of experience across manufacturing, technology, consulting, and global services organizations, Sriniwas brings extensive expertise in human resources leadership, employee relations, HR transformation, talent strategy, compliance, organizational development, and workforce management. His appointment reflects Tata Chemicals’ continued commitment to building a future-ready, high-performance, and innovation-driven workforce.
Prior to joining Tata Chemicals, Sriniwas CR served as Chief Human Resources Officer & Senior Vice President at NACL Industries Limited, where he led the HR, Administration, and Corporate Communications functions. During his tenure, he played a key role in strengthening the people agenda for one of India’s established agrochemical companies while supporting business growth and organizational transformation.
Before NACL Industries, he was Group Vice President and Head Human Resources – APAC at Innova Solutions, where he led HR across the Asia-Pacific region while also overseeing global employee relations. In this role, he partnered with business leaders to develop people strategies that supported rapid growth, transformation, mergers, acquisitions, workforce integration, and organizational effectiveness.
A significant chapter of his career was spent at Accenture, where he served for nearly twelve years in a variety of senior HR leadership roles. As Director – HR, he led critical employee relations investigations and global governance initiatives. Earlier, as Director – Global Employee Relations, he was part of Accenture’s global employee relations leadership team, responsible for shaping and implementing employee relations strategies across multiple countries while advising business leaders on mergers, acquisitions, workforce transitions, compliance matters, and organizational risk mitigation. He also played a leading role in digitizing employee relations processes and strengthening global HR governance frameworks.
Earlier in his career, Sriniwas held key HR leadership positions with Tata Motors, Infosys, Dell International Services, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Ballarpur Industries, and Modicorp India, gaining extensive experience across manufacturing, automotive, pharmaceuticals, IT services, and corporate HR functions. His broad exposure to diverse industries has equipped him with deep expertise in talent management, business partnering, industrial relations, leadership development, policy design, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement.
His appointment comes at a strategic time for Tata Chemicals as the company continues to expand its focus on advanced chemistry, sustainability, research-driven innovation, and global business growth.
