Boston Heights, Ohio, United States, March 2025 – Stephanie Merritt has been appointed as Vice President of Human Resources at Arhaus. In this role, she will lead the company’s HR strategy, talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development initiatives to support Arhaus’ continued growth and commitment to fostering a strong workplace culture.
Prior to joining Arhaus, Stephanie Merritt served as Senior Director of Talent Management and Employee Relations at Crossroads, where she played a pivotal role in developing talent strategies, strengthening employee relations, and implementing HR best practices in a remote work environment.
Before her tenure at Crossroads, she spent nearly 15 years at rue21, where she held multiple HR leadership positions, including Director of HR Employee Relations & Talent Acquisition, Director of HR Employee Relations, and Senior Manager HR Employee Relations. During her time at rue21, she was instrumental in shaping HR policies, driving talent acquisition efforts, and overseeing employee relations for a large-scale workforce.
Earlier in her career, she held HR leadership roles at P3I, Incorporated, Boston Technology Corporation, and Mitchell Martin Inc., where she gained extensive experience in HR generalist functions, recruitment, and workforce planning. She also served as Sr. Technical Recruiter at Ajilon and Human Resource Generalist at netGuru, further honing her expertise in employee relations and talent acquisition strategies.
