Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, June 2025 – Central Clinic Behavioral Health has announced the appointment of Stephanie Phelps as its new Chief Human Resources Officer. Bringing over 20 years of HR leadership experience, Ms. Phelps is recognized for her deep passion for behavioral health services and her strategic, results-oriented approach. She is set to lead the human resources function in support of the organization’s most valuable asset—its people—driving the FIVE-TIME Top Workplace Award-winning culture forward.
Stephanie Phelps is celebrated for her expertise in strategic planning, cultural transformation, leadership development, talent management, total rewards, and regulatory compliance. Her leadership will be instrumental in strengthening the organization’s compassionate and high-performing environment.
Prior to joining Central Clinic Behavioral Health, Stephanie Phelps served as Vice President, Human Resources at Easterseals Redwood, where she shaped HR strategies to support workforce inclusion and empowerment across the Cincinnati metropolitan area.
Before that, she held the role of Vice President, Human Resources at the Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency, where she championed people-first initiatives and organizational priorities in service to the community.
Earlier, Stephanie served as Senior Regional Human Resources Business Partner at the Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library, overseeing talent management and HR operations for a large public institution.
She also gained extensive HR experience as Director of Human Resources at DHL and as Regional Human Resources Manager at XPO Logistics, strengthening employee engagement and leadership across logistics and supply chain sectors.
Her foundational HR career began with a long tenure as Human Resources Manager at Cohesion Consulting and Staffing, where she built the talent foundation for growth-focused consulting environments.
Stephanie holds a credential in Strategic Leadership & Organizational Management from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business.
