With over 17 years of experience at 7-Eleven, Steve brings extensive expertise in HR management, employee relations, and strategic HR initiatives to his new role. Steve Schneider has been with 7-Eleven for approximately 17 years and 3 months. In his current role as Director of Human Resources, he is responsible for supporting the HR needs of various departments, including Merchandising, Fuels, Real Estate, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Operations Services. Prior to this, Steve served as Senior Manager, Field Training & Training Centers Excellence for about 3 years and 7 months, where he led a team of over 70 professionals and developed strategies to enhance training processes and standards across the organization.

Before becoming a Senior Manager, Steve held the position of Human Resources Leader & Sr. Recruiter Talent Acquisition at 7-Eleven for approximately 3 years and 1 month. In this role, he supported the Digital, Technology, Merchandising, and Finance departments, transforming the organization into a digitally enabled future. Steve also served as Human Resources Manager across nine states, managing employee relations, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness for about 5 years and 1 month.

Earlier in his career, Steve was an Asset Protection Specialist for 3 years and 1 month, where he recovered assets from fraud in both corporate and franchised stores. He also served as a Field Training Specialist for 2 years and 5 months, overseeing the training and development of store operators and franchisees. Steve’s career began as a District Manager at 7-Eleven, overseeing multiple stores and managing operations for about 4 years and 1 month.
