Gurugram, Haryana, India, December 2024 – Suhail Ghai has been promoted to Director, Chief Digital Officer & Head Operations at Max Life Insurance Company Limited. In his expanded role, Suhail will lead the company’s Digital and Operations functions, overseeing customer experience, service, renewals, and field operations. He will also spearhead the digital transformation efforts, focusing on building best-in-class experiences for customers and sellers, developing new digital business models, and leveraging data and AI to enhance organizational intelligence.
Suhail has been an integral part of Max Life Insurance since 2019, where he began as EVP & CTO. Over a tenure of nearly six years, he played a pivotal role in driving digital transformation across various business channels, managing IT infrastructure, analytics, and enterprise architecture.
In 2021, Suhail was promoted to Director & Chief Digital and Information Officer, where he successfully led the company’s IT strategy, digital innovation, and operational excellence for over three years.
Prior to Max Life, Suhail spent over nine years at PepsiCo, where he held several leadership roles, including Chief Information Officer – India Region. He was responsible for driving IT strategy, managing technology delivery, and supporting PepsiCo’s business transformation agenda. He also led SAP implementation projects across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
Suhail’s earlier roles include serving as Head IT at L’Oréal India, where he formulated IT strategies and led business transformation projects, and as Head SAP Project, where he successfully delivered key business initiatives.
