In his new role, he will lead the firm’s growth strategy across Tamil Nadu, strengthen client relationships, expand its regional presence, and build high-performing wealth management teams to serve high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutional clients.
Prior to joining Neo Wealth Management, Suman spent nearly 19 years with Axis Bank, most recently serving as Senior Vice President – Market Head. During his long tenure, he played a key role in building and managing wealth management businesses across the Chennai market, developing deep client relationships, leading high-performing teams, and delivering comprehensive investment and wealth advisory solutions for affluent customers.
Earlier, he worked with ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as Personal Banker, where he advised clients on investment opportunities based on their financial objectives and risk profiles while expanding the bank’s wealth management relationships.
He began his banking career with Standard Chartered Finance Ltd. as a Relationship Associate, managing client relationships and supporting trade finance and banking services while acquiring new business opportunities.
With more than 21 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, relationship management, investment advisory, and financial planning, Suman brings extensive expertise in serving high-net-worth clients, building trusted advisory relationships, and leading wealth management teams. His appointment reflects Neo Wealth Management’s continued investment in strengthening its leadership presence across South India.
