Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India, September 2025 – Goodera has appointed Sumit Agarwal as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), strengthening its leadership team as the company accelerates its next phase of global growth. In his new role, Sumit will lead Goodera’s global finance function, with a mandate covering fundraising, investor relations, financial planning, M&A and integrations, and long-term strategic business growth.
A Chartered Accountant and All-India Rank holder, Sumit brings with him more than 20 years of leadership experience across fintech, e-commerce, payments, and technology. His diverse experience includes building and scaling businesses, raising capital, and driving financial excellence in high-growth companies. His appointment marks an important milestone in fortifying Goodera’s foundation for long-term scale and impact.

Prior to joining Goodera, Sumit spent over seven years at MakeMyTrip – Goibibo Group, where he served as SVP and Head of TripMoney, pioneering digital financial products such as BNPL, credit, insurance, and forex services. He also served on the Board of Directors at BookMyForex, a strategic investment by MakeMyTrip.
Previously, Sumit was Co-founder and COO at Little Internet Pvt. Ltd., a hyperlocal O2O platform later acquired by Paytm. Before that, he served as CFO and Business Head at Zovi.com, where he managed fundraises and strategic initiatives, and CFO and Head of Revenue at NGPAY, which was later acquired by Flipkart.
Sumit also brings a solid foundation in corporate finance from his early years at Wipro Technologies, where he held leadership roles across global finance, enterprise applications, and internal audit functions, and began his career at EY in Audit and Assurance Services.
