Gurugram, Haryana, India, April 2026 – Sumit Khatri has been appointed as National Sales Manager (NSM) – Regional Retail at Usha International, marking a key leadership move as the company continues to strengthen its retail footprint and market presence across India.
In this role, Sumit will lead regional retail sales strategy, drive growth across modern trade channels, and enhance customer engagement as Usha International expands its reach in the consumer durables segment.
Prior to joining Usha International in this role, Sumit served as Modern Retail Head at Hindware Home Innovation Limited, where he led retail strategy and channel expansion initiatives, contributing to business growth in a competitive consumer market.
Before that, he held a similar role as Modern Retail Head at Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals, where he played a key role in strengthening modern retail partnerships and driving category performance across key markets.
Earlier, Sumit was associated with Usha International as Regional Manager, where he managed regional operations and sales performance, gaining deep insights into the company’s business and distribution ecosystem.
He also brings valuable experience from Samsung India as Key Account Manager, where he handled large retail accounts and drove business growth through strategic partnerships.
In the early stages of his career, Sumit worked with Future Group India, Reliance Retail, and HyperCITY Retail, building a strong foundation in category management, merchandising, and retail planning.
With over 15 years of experience across retail, consumer durables, and sales leadership, Sumit brings deep expertise in modern trade, channel strategy, and business development.
