New Delhi, Delhi, India, June 2025 – Sunil Pandey has been elevated to the role of Chief AI & Digital Officer at HFCL Limited, marking a pivotal advancement in the company’s digital transformation journey. In this newly elevated role, Sunil is expected to lead the organization’s charge into Responsible AI, Industry 4.0, and digital twin technologies, helping reshape HFCL into a future-ready digital enterprise.
Since joining HFCL in 2021 as Chief Information Officer, Sunil has played a vital role in modernizing the company’s digital landscape. Under his leadership, HFCL achieved several key milestones, including SAP RISE implementation, cloud infrastructure modernization, and ISO 27001 and 27701 certifications. He also collaborated closely with the Chairman’s office and led a team of over 50 professionals, driving innovation in systems integration, process reengineering, and enterprise-wide IT transformation.
Prior to HFCL, Sunil served as Chief Information Officer at Sterlite Power, where he led digital initiatives across multiple manufacturing plants, implemented Salesforce-SAP integration, and launched customer-centric mobile apps. His focus on aligning IT strategy with business goals was instrumental in transforming Sterlite’s digital ecosystem.
At JWIL Infra, he crafted a comprehensive digital transformation roadmap, establishing a strong IT & OT ecosystem. Before that, he contributed to Adani Green Energy Ltd. as Head IT, where he optimized cloud cost structures and promoted cybersecurity awareness. Notably, Sunil also founded AgileApt Solutions, launching innovative SaaS platforms for online negotiations and SCM optimization.
Earlier in his career, he spent over a decade at Moser Baer India Ltd., leading SAP implementations and developing more than 40 digital applications, followed by project leadership roles at Radix Infotech, Prosix Softron, and Avadh Texwood & Systems, where he delivered custom ERP and real estate management solutions.
Sunil holds advanced certifications from MIT xPRO, IIM Ahmedabad, and IIM Bangalore, equipping him with cutting-edge knowledge in digital strategy, responsible AI, and transformation leadership.
