CHENNAI, Tamil Nadu, India, September 2025 — Suresh Manickavasagam has been appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer at KMC Aluminium Private Limited, where he will oversee operations across KMC Aluminium and its group company, KMC Petrochemicals. In this role, he will focus on strengthening operational efficiency, driving business growth, and ensuring high-quality production standards in the aluminium extrusion sector.
Before assuming this position, Suresh was associated with KMC Aluminium Limited as Plant Head, where he managed multiple aluminium extrusion profile manufacturing plants, ensuring excellence in operations, safety, and output quality.
Earlier, he served as Vice President – Operations at Altek Beissel Needles Ltd., where he managed plant operations, P&L responsibilities, and sustainability initiatives in collaboration with KPMG, with a strong emphasis on ESG monitoring and corporate social responsibility.
Prior to that, Suresh contributed to Tonglit Autogistic Pvt Ltd., leading the Design & Development team catering to major automotive OEMs such as Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, and Mahindra. His team also developed a compact vehicle ramp, which entered the patent process.
He also held senior roles at Greaves Cotton India Limited as Senior Manager – New Product Development, where he led multiple engineering projects in diesel-powered agricultural machinery, and at J M Frictech India Pvt Ltd, where he headed R&D for off-highway vehicle components, overseeing design, development, and application engineering of oil-immersed brakes and PTO clutches.
