Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, June 2025 — Surya Narayan Patro has been elevated to the role of Chief Financial Officer at Toyota Financial Services India, reinforcing the company’s commitment to strategic financial leadership in a dynamic and expanding market. Based in Bengaluru, Surya will lead the organization’s financial planning, governance, fundraising, and regulatory compliance functions, reporting directly to the executive leadership team.
With more than two decades of experience in financial institutions, Surya has developed a deep understanding of corporate finance, Ind AS, taxation, fund management, and automation. Since joining Toyota Financial Services India in July 2023 as Function Head – Finance & Accounts, he has played a pivotal role in streamlining financial operations, enhancing reporting standards, and aligning financial systems with business goals.
Before his tenure at TFS India, Surya held several senior positions across leading financial institutions, including Fincare Small Finance Bank, North East Small Finance Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Shriram Investments. Notably, at North East Small Finance Bank, he was instrumental in transitioning the organization from an NBFC-MFI to a full-fledged small finance bank and in setting up core banking operations.
