Virginia Beach, Virginia, United States, August 2024 – Susan Flores has begun her new role as Vice President of Human Resources at ECPI University. In this leadership position, Susan will be responsible for overseeing the university’s HR strategy, focusing on enhancing employee engagement, developing talent management programs, and ensuring the alignment of HR initiatives with the institution’s mission to support student success through hands-on, student-centered education.
Prior to joining ECPI University, Susan served as Director of Human Resources HRBP at Sentara Health for nearly three years. In this role, she led change management initiatives, workforce planning, and played a key role in developing HR strategies that supported the organization’s growth and adaptability in the healthcare sector.
Before Sentara Health, Susan was the Director of Human Resources at Glasser and Glasser, PLC for eight years, where she focused on compensation management, employee relations, and talent development, contributing significantly to the firm’s HR operations.
Earlier in her career, Susan held the position of Director of Human Resources at Petroleum Marketing Group, Inc / E&C Enterprises, Inc. for over a decade. During her tenure, she was instrumental in implementing HR policies and programs that supported the company’s expansion and operational efficiency.
