In this role, Susan will lead all aspects of human resources, including HR operations, talent management, employee engagement, and leadership development. She will also serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and the executive team, driving Enable’s people strategy to align with its long-term goals.
Before joining Enable, Susan Hailey served as the Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition and Equity, Diversity & Inclusion at OpenText. Over her three-year tenure, Susan was pivotal in transforming the global talent function and driving the company’s diversity and inclusion efforts. Her leadership earned OpenText recognition as one of Forbes’ Best Places to Work in 2022, and she was awarded the company’s top leadership award for her contributions.
Prior to OpenText, Susan spent five years at Medidata Solutions as Vice President, Global Talent Acquisition. There, she built and scaled the company’s talent acquisition function, overseeing the hiring of professionals across multiple regions and levels. Under her leadership, Medidata expanded from 800 to over 2,400 employees, supporting the company’s growth across diverse functions and geographies.
At eBay, Susan led as the Head of Global Talent for eBay Marketplaces, managing a team of over 100 professionals. She successfully rebuilt eBay’s global executive search and recruitment operations, hiring 4,000 professionals annually. Her efforts significantly improved eBay’s hiring processes and earned her the prestigious Critical Talent Award.
Susan’s earlier roles include her time as Vice President, Talent Management at Caesars Entertainment Corporation, where she recruited senior executives to manage a wide portfolio of hotels and casinos. She also held key positions at Egon Zehnder, CTPartners, and Yahoo! Inc., where she developed her expertise in business development and executive leadership.
