Schaumburg, Illinois, October 2024 – Rich Farruggia has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Xirgo Technologies, where he will lead HR strategies and initiatives to support the company’s growing workforce. Farruggia will be based in Schaumburg, Illinois, working on-site and playing a critical role in aligning talent with business needs to ensure the continued success of the organization.
Before joining Xirgo Technologies, Rich Farruggia served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Enesco, LLC for more than four years. At Enesco, he was instrumental in aligning HR functions with the company’s business objectives, driving talent acquisition, and supporting overall organizational growth.
Prior to Enesco, he held leadership roles at Things Remembered, including Vice President of Human Resources, where he led HR and facilities functions and directed the alignment of team performance with business goals. Farruggia was also Director of Human Resources for seven years, focusing on talent development, organizational strategies, and HR leadership at key company locations.
His earlier experience includes an HR consultancy role with Organizational Architecture, Inc., and he was the President of RDM Property Maintenance, a successful startup that grew significantly under his leadership.
Farruggia’s extensive HR background also includes positions at ICI Paints, where he served as Divisional Human Resources Manager, overseeing HR operations for a large retail network, and OfficeMax, Inc., where he managed corporate recruitment and employee relations.
