Pune, India – Omya, the Swiss multinational company with a 140-year legacy in industrial minerals, has recently announced the appointment of Swati Dogra as the new Head of HR for South Asia. Dogra brings to Omya over a decade of extensive experience in human resources, specializing in strategic HR leadership and global compensation management.
Prior to her new role at Omya, Dogra was associated with Amdocs, where she significantly contributed as the HR Business Lead for APAC & EMEA since August 2023. Her responsibilities included overseeing diversity and inclusion initiatives and leading organizational development practices on a global scale from April 2022 to September 2023. Before Amdocs, she honed her skills as a Global Compensation Manager, where she developed strategies for total rewards and compensation that align with corporate goals and employee satisfaction.
Dogra’s professional journey also includes a tenure at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Global Compensation Lead, where she managed compensation strategies and employee benefits design. This role followed her extensive experience at Amdocs, where she held various positions including Total Rewards Expert and Senior Compensation and Benefits Specialist for APAC, highlighting her deep expertise in rewards and benefits frameworks essential for multinational corporations.
Earlier in her career, Dogra worked with Panasonic as an Assistant Manager of HR, where she was pivotal in driving HR operations and change management. She also served at Bain & Company as an HR Analyst, focusing on HR operations and culture change, further establishing her foundation in strategic human resources management.
