Dubai, UAE, June 2024 – Tanu Tewari has joined Aster DM Healthcare as the new HR Head – Aster Retail. Tanu brings over 20 years of extensive experience in human resources and strategic leadership to this new role, ready to enhance HR functions across multiple regions.
Tanu Tewari has been with Aster DM Healthcare for over three years. Prior to her current role, she served as the Head HR – Aster Clinics & Digital Health for over three years, leading HR strategies and operations in Dubai. Her responsibilities included digital transformation, strategic human resource planning, scalability, retention strategies, and cost engineering.
Before that, Tanu worked at Columbia Asia Hospitals Pvt. Ltd. for over seven years as the General Manager Human Resources. She was accountable for the complete gamut of HR activities, including talent acquisition, manpower rationalization, cost optimization, employee engagement, talent management, organizational development, performance management, leadership development, attrition and exit analysis for 2500 employees. She ensured that all talent and leadership development practices aligned with organizational culture and business strategy.
Earlier in her career, Tanu held various HR roles, including Senior Manager Training & Development at Columbia Asia Hospitals Pvt. Ltd., Training Manager at The Leela Palace Kempinski, Learning and Development Manager at Taj Hotels, and several roles at Hilton UK & Ireland. She also worked as a Banquet Supervisor at ITC Grand Central and Food and Beverage Supervisor at Trident Hilton, Jaipur.
