Hyderabad, Telangana, India, July 2025 – Tanuj Saxena has been elevated to the role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer at DocOnline, following an impactful tenure as Chief Distribution Officer. In his new position, Tanuj will be steering DocOnline’s next wave of growth, overseeing strategic expansion, product innovation, profitability, and global market reach in the digital healthcare space.
Tanuj’s journey at DocOnline spans nearly five years, during which he played a pivotal role in scaling the company into a leader in the Digi-Physical healthcare ecosystem. As Chief Distribution Officer, he architected a distribution-led growth model, building over 30 strategic partnerships across NBFCs, fintechs, insurers, banks, and MFIs. Under his leadership, DocOnline achieved 50% wallet share in a $100 million healthcare subscription market, with an ambition to drive an ₹800 Cr+ profitable book. His vision and execution have been instrumental in winning industry recognition, including awards from Elets and ET Healthcare.
Prior to joining DocOnline, Tanuj was a Business Development Professional in Transition, applying his expertise in strategic partnerships and corporate sales. This interim phase helped sharpen his entrepreneurial focus and readiness for scale-up roles in health-tech.
Earlier, he served as Senior Vice President & Head – Business Development at vHealth by Aetna, where he led the onboarding of 20+ strategic partners and scaled monthly cash sales by 6X in under 15 months. He also developed an innovative product suite that reached over 2 million customers, contributing significantly to vHealth’s market penetration.
Before that, Tanuj was Head – Business Development (Affinity & Corporate Sales), where he built high-impact alliances with BFSI and corporate sectors, curated innovative wellness solutions, and drove B2B2C and B2C model expansion. His tenure here reinforced his ability to build and lead strong distribution channels and enterprise client relationships.
In previous roles at Aegon Life Insurance, Max Bupa Health Insurance, Royal Sundaram General Insurance, and Reliance General Insurance, Tanuj consistently delivered performance through strategic alliances, bancassurance partnerships, and customer-centric product innovations. Starting his career as Agency Manager at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Tanuj built a strong foundation in insurance and distribution management.
