Tep Chanbora Promoted to Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer at Peng Huoth Group

Phnom Penh, Cambodia, April 2025 – Tep Chanbora has taken on a new leadership role as Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer at Peng Huoth Group, marking a significant milestone in a decade-long journey with the organization. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the HR strategic plan, overseeing HR operations, guiding talent development and learning initiatives, managing compensation strategies, and driving leadership coaching and team building across the group.

Chanbora most recently served as Senior Human Resources Manager at Peng Huoth Group, where he led HR business planning, employee engagement initiatives, talent acquisition, and cost management. He was also instrumental in enhancing the company’s capabilities in CSR coordination and policy implementation, playing a key role in strengthening organizational culture and talent pipelines.

Previously, he held the role of Human Resources Manager for three years, where he spearheaded several key HR functions including succession planning, employee retention programs, and operational support. His proactive approach to workforce planning and his deep understanding of organizational dynamics positioned him as a key asset to the HR leadership team.

Earlier in his career, Chanbora built robust expertise in compensation and benefits, progressing through roles such as Deputy Manager, Supervisor, and Senior Officer, before leading payroll, headcount analysis, JE implementation, and HR reporting functions. His career began as a C&B Officer and Assistant to Admin and Accounting Manager, where he gained hands-on experience in payroll processing, labor compliance, and employee engagement for large-scale workforces.
