Philippines, June 2024 – Straive is delighted to announce that Teta Sarmiento has joined as the new Vice President Human Resources.
With a distinguished career in human resources spanning over two decades, Teta brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her new role. Her most recent role was with inspiro, where she served as Global Head of Talent Acquisition. Teta’s extensive expertise and strategic vision make her an excellent fit for Straive, and her leadership will be instrumental in driving the HR initiatives across the organization.
Prior to that, Teta spent nearly 6 years at Cognizant as Country Head of Talent Acquisition. She specialized in digital technology recruitment, IT infrastructure & services, volume hiring, and corporate & leadership hiring.
Earlier in her career, Teta held significant roles at SPi Global. She was AVP, Human Resources – Talent Acquisition for around 2 years, where she managed talent acquisition strategies across healthcare, content management, IT, and corporate support sectors. Additionally, she served as Senior Manager, Human Resources – Talent Acquisition for approximately 5 years, focusing on talent acquisition strategies and operations, and training and development.
