Atlanta, Georgia, United States, December 2024 – The Coca-Cola Company announced today the appointment of Henrique Braun as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, effective January 1, 2025. In his expanded role, Braun will oversee all of the company’s operating units worldwide and report directly to James Quincey, Chairman and CEO.
Currently serving as EVP and President, International Development, Braun oversees Coca-Cola’s operating units in Latin America, Japan & South Korea, ASEAN & South Pacific, Greater China and Mongolia, Africa, India & Southwest Asia, and Eurasia and Middle East. As COO, he will also add oversight of the North America and Europe operating units to his portfolio.
“Henrique has built an impressive track record of driving our growth strategy along with numerous operational accomplishments, all while keeping the consumer at the center of decisions,” said James Quincey. “He has proven to be a trusted, strategic leader with a reputation for developing talent and delivering results.”
Braun has been instrumental in driving Coca-Cola’s growth strategy through roles including President of the Latin America Operating Unit (2020–2022) and President of the Brazil Business Unit (2016–2020). Earlier, he served as President of the Greater China & Korea Business Unit from 2013 to 2016.
With a career spanning over 28 years at Coca-Cola, Braun has progressed through roles of increasing responsibility in North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America, gaining expertise in supply chain, new business development, marketing, innovation, general management, and bottling operations.

Henrique Braun holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering from the University Federal of Rio de Janeiro, a Master of Science from Michigan State University, and an MBA from Georgia State University. His extensive experience in global leadership positions has made him an invaluable asset to Coca-Cola’s success.
