The Coca-Cola Company Appoints Henrique Braun as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Atlanta, Georgia, United States, December 2024 – The Coca-Cola Company announced today the appointment of Henrique Braun as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, effective January 1, 2025. In his expanded role, Braun will oversee all of the company’s operating units worldwide and report directly to James Quincey, Chairman and CEO.

Currently serving as EVP and President, International Development, Braun oversees Coca-Cola’s operating units in Latin America, Japan & South Korea, ASEAN & South Pacific, Greater China and Mongolia, Africa, India & Southwest Asia, and Eurasia and Middle East. As COO, he will also add oversight of the North America and Europe operating units to his portfolio.

Braun has been instrumental in driving Coca-Cola’s growth strategy through roles including President of the Latin America Operating Unit (2020–2022) and President of the Brazil Business Unit (2016–2020). Earlier, he served as President of the Greater China & Korea Business Unit from 2013 to 2016.

With a career spanning over 28 years at Coca-Cola, Braun has progressed through roles of increasing responsibility in North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America, gaining expertise in supply chain, new business development, marketing, innovation, general management, and bottling operations.

“I am energized and honored to take on this broader role,” said Braun. “I look forward to partnering with James, our executive leadership team, bottling partners, and associates to deliver on our total beverage strategy and drive growth across the company and our system worldwide.”

  • Nikos Koumettis, President, Europe Operating Unit
  • Gilles Leclerc, President, Greater China and Mongolia Operating Unit
  • Jennifer Mann, EVP and President, North America Operating Unit
  • Luisa Ortega, President, Africa Operating Unit
  • Murat Ozgel, President, Japan & South Korea Operating Unit
  • Bruno Pietracci, President, Latin America Operating Unit
  • Sanket Ray, President, India & Southwest Asia Operating Unit
  • Sedef Salingan Sahin, President, Eurasia and Middle East Operating Unit

Henrique Braun holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering from the University Federal of Rio de Janeiro, a Master of Science from Michigan State University, and an MBA from Georgia State University. His extensive experience in global leadership positions has made him an invaluable asset to Coca-Cola’s success.
