Nairobi, Kenya, January 2025 – Tim Kajume has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Naivas Limited, Kenya’s leading supermarket chain. In this pivotal role, Tim will oversee Naivas’ HR strategy, focusing on fostering a culture of excellence, talent management, and aligning HR initiatives with the company’s growth objectives. With over two decades of experience in strategic HR leadership, he is set to make a significant impact on the organization.
Tim Kajume began his tenure at Naivas Limited in November 2024, bringing his extensive expertise in HR management, organizational development, and adaptive leadership.
Prior to joining Naivas, Tim served as Group HR Director at Wananchi Group for over six years. In this role, he led various HR transformation initiatives, spearheaded cultural change programs, and enhanced organizational effectiveness across multiple regions.
Before Wananchi, Tim was a Business Partner at IQue Consult, where he supported clients in building adaptive HR strategies and facilitating organizational development. His earlier roles include serving as General Manager, HR & Operations at Computech Limited and Group HR Manager at both Wananchi Group and Africa Online, where he honed his skills in talent management, HR strategy, and leadership development.
