Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, December 2024 – Pushpa Nalavade has taken on the role of Managing Director – Business Services, Acceleration Centers, India at PwC Business Services. In her new position, she will oversee the strategic direction, transformation, execution, and quality of acceleration centers across India, leveraging her extensive expertise in managing complex organizational operations and leading shared services transformation initiatives.
Before joining PwC, Pushpa Nalavade pursued a period of personal and professional enrichment as a Passionpreneur, engaging in multiple ventures such as publishing a poetry collection, gaining expertise in the semiconductor industry, and mentoring startups. This followed a successful tenure of 12 years and 7 months at Accenture, where she held various leadership positions, including Managing Director – Global Business Operations and Managing Director – Shared Services (Enterprise Enablement). During her time at Accenture, Pushpa managed global teams, drove process transformations, and enhanced operations delivery for diverse portfolios.
Earlier in her career, she worked as the Global Strategy & Planning Leader at IBM, managing value propositions and strategic planning initiatives across industries. Pushpa also served at Fidelity Investments in multiple roles, including as the Head of Strategic Business Development & Transitions, where she focused on business consultancy, strategy formulation, and operational transitions. Prior to that, she spent seven years at Cummins India, contributing to strategic programs, Kaizen initiatives, and operational excellence projects.
Pushpa began her professional journey as a Station Manager at private airlines in India, where she managed end-to-end operations, business development, and client relations, laying a strong foundation for her later roles.
