New York, United States, December 2024 – Timothy Shea has taken on the role of Director of Talent Acquisition at Hearst Magazines, one of the world’s largest lifestyle publishers. In his new position, Timothy will oversee recruitment strategy, lead a team of recruiters, and work closely with senior leadership to align talent acquisition strategies with organizational goals. He will focus on strengthening Hearst’s employer brand and implementing innovative hiring solutions.
Prior to joining Hearst Magazines, Timothy served as Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition at HelloFresh for nearly six years. At HelloFresh, he was instrumental in scaling the hiring process for over 300 sales professionals and 10,000 operations employees nationally. He also evaluated and implemented Recruiting Process Outsourcing (RPO) solutions, developed end-to-end hiring processes, and led a team of talent acquisition professionals to achieve organizational growth.
Before HelloFresh, Timothy was a Corporate Recruiter at Sartorius, where he improved employer branding, introduced new sourcing models, and implemented talent acquisition toolkits. He also played a pivotal role in the implementation of applicant tracking and human capital management systems.
Earlier in his career, Timothy held senior recruitment roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Futurestep, a Korn Ferry company, where he managed client partnerships, developed multi-channel sourcing strategies, and built strong relationships with stakeholders and candidates. His career also includes roles at PEAR Core Solutions and Adecco, where he gained experience in talent acquisition, retention, and behavioral analytics.
