New Orleans, Louisiana, United States, February 2025 – Tina R. has been appointed as Director of Human Resources at Lighthouse for the Blind New Orleans, where she will oversee HR strategy, talent management, and workforce planning to support the organization’s mission of empowering individuals with disabilities. With a strong background in HR leadership, employee relations, and organizational development, she is expected to enhance HR operations, diversity initiatives, and workforce inclusion at the nonprofit.
Before joining Lighthouse for the Blind New Orleans, Tina served as Sr. Human Resources Director at Servantex for nearly six years, where she played a crucial role in HR strategy, employer branding, and workforce engagement across the hospitality staffing and distribution industries. She was responsible for HR software implementation, talent acquisition, and compliance management, supporting nationwide operations.
Prior to that, Tina worked as Director of Human Resources at the City of Gretna Mayor’s Office, where she managed public sector HR operations, employee engagement programs, and policy development. She also spent nearly five years at Marriott, working with HEI Hotels & Resorts and labor unions, leading HR strategies, labor relations, and workforce development across multiple hotel brands.
Earlier in her career, Tina held the role of Regional Human Resources Manager at Big River Restaurants / Applebee’s, where she was responsible for HR strategy, employer branding, and workforce planning for multiple locations. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management and Services from Columbia Southern University.
