Dallas–Fort Worth Area, Texas, United States, January 2026 — Tony Caesar has started a new role as Founder and Chief Executive Officer at CZAR Technology Group, marking a new chapter in his career focused on providing executive-level technology leadership to small and mid-sized businesses.
In his new role, Tony Caesar is leveraging decades of corporate IT leadership experience to serve as a Fractional CIO and strategic IT advisor for organizations with 50–500 employees. Through CZAR Technology Group, he helps companies bridge the gap between day-to-day IT operations and long-term business objectives, offering guidance across strategic technology planning, digital transformation, legacy system optimization, cybersecurity, infrastructure modernization, vendor management, and technology investment strategy.
Prior to founding CZAR Technology Group, Tony Caesar spent over seven years with Ericsson, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, Information Technology – Enterprise Wireless Solutions. In this role, he led a $32 million global IT operation spanning enterprise applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data and analytics, and employee experience. He also played a critical role in integrating Cradlepoint into Ericsson following its acquisition, delivering the integration ahead of schedule and earning a Global Top Performer Award.
Earlier at Ericsson, he served as Head of IT, North America, where he transformed IT from a tactical support function into a strategy-driven partner, delivering measurable business value through cloud migration, AI-driven automation, and large-scale smart factory implementations.
Before Ericsson, Tony Caesar held senior technology leadership roles at PrimeSource Building Products and Master Halco, serving as Vice President and Chief Information Officer at both organizations. In these roles, he led multi-million-dollar IT portfolios, delivered enterprise digital roadmaps, enabled revenue growth through technology platforms, and drove significant cost savings through cloud adoption and operational optimization.
His earlier career includes global SAP and enterprise systems leadership roles at Easton-Bell Sports and dual CIO and distribution leadership responsibilities at Head/Penn Racquet Sports, where he led large-scale ERP consolidation, automation, and global IT operations.
In addition to his executive career, Tony Caesar has served on multiple boards, including as Board Member and Chair of the Finance Committee at ASUG – Americas’ SAP Users’ Group, and continues to contribute to the community through board roles with the Melville Family Foundation and Uplift Education.
