Boston, Massachusetts, United States, April 2026 — Tracie Sponenberg is joining Lever Talent, Inc. as Chief People Officer in Residence and Head of Fractional HR Practice, marking an important new chapter in her leadership journey across human resources, people strategy, advisory, and workplace transformation. In this role, she will help shape how Lever Talent connects organizations with the right fractional HR expertise, from Fractional Chief People Officer to HR Director and HR Generalist, enabling companies to access experienced HR leadership without the full-time cost or commitment. At the same time, she has made it clear that she remains the Founder of Tracie Sponenberg LLC, and that her clients, advisory work, and keynote speaking will continue as the foundation of her professional work.
Before taking on this role at Lever Talent, Inc., Tracie Sponenberg has been serving as Founder, Chief People Officer & Keynote Speaker at Tracie Sponenberg LLC. She is also associated with a number of advisory, founder, and leadership communities, including DisruptHR – Manchester, NH as Founder, Harriet as Strategic Advisor, SelectSoftware Reviews as Founding Member, Expert Network, Hacking HR as Founding Member – Experts Council, Fractional People People as Member, TroopHR as Troop Member, The Best and Brightest Programs as Advisory Board Member, and University of Innovative Distribution (UID) as Faculty. These roles reflect her strong presence across the HR transformation, advisory, and leadership ecosystem.
Earlier, she served as Chief People Officer at The Granite Group, where she led the people function for a multi-state, fast-growing wholesale distributor. Prior to that, she was associated with CPOHQ as Founding Member, HR Rebooted as Co-Founder, Chief as Founding Member, SHRM as Member, Special Expertise Panel & Blogger, and Southern New Hampshire University as Adjunct Faculty. These assignments further highlight her depth across people leadership, thought leadership, learning, and community building.
In the earlier phase of her career, Tracie Sponenberg held senior HR leadership positions including Head of Human Resources at Emerson Ecologics, Head of Human Resources and Administrative Services at Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green, Human Resources Director at Concord Monitor, and Human Resources Specialist at UPS. Together, her experience across consulting, executive HR leadership, advisory roles, and community-driven initiatives reflects a long and accomplished career focused on building people-first organizations and redefining the impact of HR.
