San Francisco Bay Area, California, June 2026 – Hamilton Families has announced the appointment of Tracy Visser-Boesch as its Chief People & Culture Officer. In her new executive leadership role, she will oversee the organization’s people strategy, culture, talent development, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and workforce initiatives as Hamilton Families continues its mission of helping families move beyond homelessness and build stable futures.
Expressing her enthusiasm about the appointment, Visser-Boesch shared that she is proud to be part of an organization creating meaningful change across the San Francisco Bay Area and advancing support for families experiencing homelessness.
Tracy Visser-Boesch brings more than a decade of progressive human resources and people leadership experience across the nonprofit, healthcare staffing, and community service sectors.
Prior to assuming the role of Chief People & Culture Officer, she served as Director of HR & Administration at Community Youth Center of San Francisco (CYC). In this position, she led human resources and administrative functions, supporting organizational effectiveness, workforce management, employee relations, and talent initiatives for one of the region’s leading youth development organizations.
Before joining CYC, Visser-Boesch spent more than four years with Hamilton Families, where she played an instrumental role in strengthening the organization’s people practices and culture. She initially joined as People and Culture Manager, leading initiatives related to talent management, employee engagement, compensation, and workforce development. She was subsequently promoted to Director of People and Culture, where she oversaw broader organizational development, people strategy, employee relations, leadership support, and culture-building efforts.
Her deep understanding of Hamilton Families’ mission, workforce, and organizational values positions her well to lead the people function at the executive level.
Earlier in her career, Visser-Boesch spent more than seven years with Covelo Group, progressing through a series of human resources leadership roles including Human Resources Coordinator, Human Resources Manager, and Senior Human Resources Manager. During this period, she gained extensive experience in employee relations, labor and employment law, onboarding, talent management, compliance, and HR operations.
Before transitioning into HR leadership, she held roles with Sports Basement as Department Lead – Backcountry, where she developed team leadership, customer engagement, and operational management skills. She also served as a Youth Leadership Facilitator with the Presidio Community YMCA, supporting youth development and community engagement programs.
As Chief People & Culture Officer, Visser-Boesch is expected to focus on strengthening employee engagement, leadership development, talent acquisition, workforce planning, diversity and inclusion, and organizational culture. Her appointment reflects Hamilton Families’ commitment to ensuring that its people strategy remains closely aligned with its mission of serving families experiencing homelessness.
