Hani Alahdal Takes on New Role as HUMAIN Builder Alongside CHRO Responsibilities at HUMAIN

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, June 2026 – Hani Alahdal, Chief Human Resource Officer at HUMAIN, has taken on an additional role as HUMAIN Builder, reflecting a groundbreaking experiment in how the Saudi AI company is redefining the future of work and the role of HR in the age of artificial intelligence.

The move comes as HUMAIN expands the concept of HR beyond traditional people management. According to HUMAIN CEO Tareq Amin, members of the HR organization—including professionals without software development backgrounds—are actively building AI agents designed to automate, augment, and transform HR processes. The initiative positions HR teams not merely as managers of people and processes, but as creators of digital workers that can drive productivity, scalability, and innovation across the enterprise.

With more than 18 years of experience in human resources, organizational development, talent strategy, workforce transformation, governance, and leadership development, Alahdal is uniquely positioned to help shape this next-generation approach to AI-enabled people management.

Before assuming the dual role of Chief Human Resource Officer and HUMAIN Builder, Hani Alahdal built an extensive leadership career across some of Saudi Arabia’s most influential organizations.

Prior to joining HUMAIN, he spent more than six years with stc, one of the Middle East’s leading telecommunications groups. Most recently, he served as Vice President – HR Center of Excellence, leading enterprise-wide initiatives spanning workforce strategy, talent management, compensation, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and HR transformation. Earlier, he served as General Manager – HR Center of Excellence, helping modernize people practices and strengthen organizational capabilities across the group.

Alongside his executive responsibilities, Alahdal has held several prominent governance and board-level appointments. He currently serves on the Nomination and Remuneration Committees of organizations including Alsalam Aerospace Industries, Al Jomaih Holding, AlSaedan Real Estate Company, stc Kuwait, and stc Bahrain. He is also a member of the management board at Dimensions Consulting Group and serves on the advisory board of palm.hr, reflecting his strong influence on governance, leadership succession, executive compensation, and organizational transformation across the region.

Earlier in his career, he served as Human Resources Director at Saudi Air Navigation Services, where he led strategic HR initiatives supporting one of the Kingdom’s most critical infrastructure organizations.

Prior to that, he held senior leadership positions at Sadara Chemical Company, including Director, HR Policy & Organization Development and Manager, Policy & Organization Development, where he focused on HR governance, organization design, policy development, and workforce transformation.

His experience also includes leadership roles with TASNEE and SABIC, where he built expertise in performance management, organizational development, workforce planning, compensation, employee benefits, and large-scale HR operations. Throughout his career, Alahdal has consistently contributed to building high-performance organizations and modernizing people practices across industries including telecommunications, aerospace, chemicals, manufacturing, healthcare, and technology.

A New Model for AI-Enabled HR

Alahdal’s new role as HUMAIN Builder represents a significant shift in how organizations may leverage artificial intelligence within HR. Rather than relying solely on technology teams to develop AI solutions, HUMAIN is encouraging HR professionals to directly participate in designing and deploying AI agents that can enhance workforce productivity, automate routine processes, and create more intelligent employee experiences.

The initiative aligns with HUMAIN’s broader vision of democratizing AI development and embedding artificial intelligence capabilities throughout the organization, making every function a potential contributor to innovation.

About HUMAIN

HUMAIN is a Saudi-based AI company focused on building advanced artificial intelligence infrastructure, foundation models, cloud platforms, and applied AI solutions. Positioned as a global AI powerhouse, the company spans the entire AI value chain—from next-generation data centers and AI infrastructure to multimodal foundation models and enterprise AI applications.

The organization aims to serve as a global hub for AI innovation across strategic sectors including energy, government, financial services, sports, and other industries. Through its integrated approach, HUMAIN is working to accelerate the adoption of AI technologies while enabling scalable and impactful real-world applications.
