Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark, Denmark, June 2025 — Troels Splittorff has been appointed as Chief People Officer (CPO) and Director at Capital Four, marking a significant milestone in his extensive career in human resources and organizational leadership. In this new role, he will spearhead Capital Four’s people strategy, leadership development, and organizational culture transformation as the firm continues to grow across global markets.
Prior to joining Capital Four, Troels Splittorff served at Novo Nordisk as an HR Business Partner, where he played a critical role in shaping the people strategy and HR delivery for their operations in Hillerød, Denmark. His focus included supporting business transformation initiatives, strategic workforce planning, and leadership development.
Before Novo Nordisk, he was the Senior HR Business Partner at P27 Nordic Payments, where he oversaw HR operations and strategic planning across three countries. His leadership was instrumental in guiding the organization from a startup phase to becoming a mature financial infrastructure provider. Simultaneously, he held a governance role as a Board Member at the Employers’ Association for Fintech, adding valuable insight into industry-wide people practices.
Troels also spent over 11 years at Nordea, where he held multiple senior roles, including HR Partner, Senior Specialist in Analysis & Development, and Lean Expert. His time at Nordea involved developing HR policies, facilitating agile transformation, and supporting leaders across the Nordic region with organizational change, employee engagement, and succession planning.
Earlier in his career, he founded ATS-Awareness, a training initiative focused on preparing employees for travel to high-risk regions, and served in the Royal Danish Army as a Captain, contributing to crisis management and leadership training. He also spent three years as a Dealer at Nordea Markets, highlighting his early grounding in finance and operations.
